Addressing Guidelines
Countries use different types / styles of addresses on their correspondences. However, our recommended addressing guidelines for international addresses is as follows. Please note that in all cases the number of lines in the address block may not exceed six.
Basic international addresses
International addresses should have the following information:
- The addressee /Person / Entity (first line)
- First Delivery address – Street/Road/Avenue Name (,) Number (second line)
- Second Delivery address – Floor, Side, Number (third line)
- Municipality name, state or province, district (fourth line)
- Postcode or ZIP Code & Postal (fifth line)
- Country name (six line)
If you country has complexity that don’t help to reach this ideal result, we can help draft one for you.
Important information – International addresses
You must address all international mail items to a specific:
- Person
- Organization
- Company name
Spell the country name in full (and correctly).
Use Mozambique, Don’t use MZ
Use United States, Don’t use USA
